    For folks interested in the chance to get to know more about the artist, her process and larger body of work, Kate will hold a free artist talk at the Guyer Barn. She’ll cover both the evolution of her approach to working with communities to any questions guests may have about the technical pieces of her process.

    Attend and participate in a community workshop at the Guyer Barn and learn the process of hand cut stencils made for the street. In a 2-session workshop, Kate will teach participants how to draw & cut stencils, spray-painting techniques and the ins and outs of layering to create 2 beautiful panels that will be displayed in Aselton Park with the portraits Kate will paint of some of our favorite locals.

    The Barnstable Town Band is an independent, town-sponsored, non-profit organization founded in 1953. It was created to provide musicians in and around Barnstable the opportunity to play concert music for personal enjoyment, and to entertain audiences each summer. It was created to provide musicians in and around Barnstable the opportunity to play concert music for personal enjoyment, and to entertain audiences each summer. It has found a permanent home on the Hyannis Town Green.  Bring a blanket or beach chair.  Hometown music at it’s best!

    44th Annual Historical Lecture Series

    All lectures are held in the Olde Colonial Courthouse, Route 6A & Rendezvous Lane, Barnstable Village starting at 7PM.

    Price of admission is $5.00 for members and $7.00 for non-members, and includes refreshments following the program. It is open seating, no reservations taken.

    Parking is available on the street and across the street at St. Mary’s Church.
